Hi there, I'm coming over from another board that is closing soon. I took about a 3 yr. hiatus from eating right and training. I put on some pounds and I'm getting back into the swing of things.

Yes, I'm coming over from EP.

I already started my clean eating and my exercise plan last week. I dropped 5 lbs. already, which I know is water weight, but exciting to see the scale go down all the same .

I'm thinking of starting a journal. I started one over on the EP boards last week, but haven't posted anything more since it's going down anyway. I think I'll copy and past my journal intro from over there.

I don't mind you asking at all! Shortly after I married in 2006, I became pregnant 3 months later. In the beginning of my pregnancy, I tried to continue my workouts and eat clean. It started to slowly climb until it reached 150 lbs. and I realized I was a chunky mom who couldn't fit into her jeans anymore without tying an elastic hair band through the button hole and around the button to keep my jeans shut.

I'm now at 145 lbs. and I have cleaned up my diet ALOT. I'm trying to fit in AT LEAST 2 workouts a week, if not 3. I'm just starting back so I have a long way to go!! That’s the condensed version, I’ll post more details when I start my journal.

Hello Jenny, that's perhaps one of the most beautiful names in the world. If I had a fleet of shrimpin' boats I'd surely name them all after you.
