Hi there, I'm coming over from another board that is closing soon. I took about a 3 yr. hiatus from eating right and training. I put on some pounds and I'm getting back into the swing of things.

After the little one was born, I started working out again sporadically, but still didn't clean up my diet. I did get down to around 135 lbs. but didn't have any definition. I also have two older children (now 13 & 15). My life was pretty much consumed with work, taking care of the little one and running the older two around to their activities. I pretty much ate what I wanted and didn't get any exercise. My weight fluctuated about 5 lbs. until last summer. It started to slowly climb until it reached 150 lbs. and I realized I was a chunky mom who couldn't fit into her jeans anymore without tying an elastic hair band through the button hole and around the button to keep my jeans shut. I'm now at 145 lbs. and I have cleaned up my diet ALOT. I'm trying to fit in AT LEAST 2 workouts a week, if not 3. I'm just starting back so I have a long way to go!! That’s the condensed version, I’ll post more details when I start my journal. |
